Ingredients

200–250 g paneer (cubed)

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp oil

2 tomatoes (puree)

1 onion (finely chopped)

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
-
1 tsp red chilli powder
-
½ tsp turmeric
-
1 tsp garam masala
-
1 tsp coriander powder
-
2 tbsp fresh cream
-
1 tsp kasuri methi (dry fenugreek)

Salt (as per taste)

1 tsp sugar (optional)

Fresh coriander leaves
Cooking Steps
1️⃣ Prepare the Masala

Heat butter + oil in a pan.

Add chopped onion and sauté until golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
2️⃣ Make the Gravy

Add tomato puree.
-
Cook for 5–7 minutes until oil separates.

Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt.
3️⃣ Add Paneer
-
Add paneer cubes to the gravy.

Add ½ cup water and cook for 3–4 minutes.
4️⃣ Finish the Dish

Add cream, garam masala, and crushed kasuri methi.

Mix gently and cook 1–2 minutes.
Serving
Serve hot with:

Butter naan
-
Tandoori roti
-
Jeera rice
Garnish with cream and coriander leaves.
Tip (Restaurant Style):
Add 1 tsp honey or sugar + extra butter at the end for the classic sweet creamy taste.
